After hearing about the massacre at Virginia Tech, the only question I could ask is, why? This world scares me. No wonder they say that you should be crying for the ones being born and rejoice for the ones that have passed. This world that we live in is becoming more violent every second. What that Asian did on Monday was just out of place. So you're depressed and a loner, killing 32 people does not solve anything, but you sure did get your fame and a bad name. WHY? Those poor innocent young adults, only a few years older then me, had their whole lives ahead of them. "United we stand," honestly, these words could not describe our country any better. Looking on facebook and college websites, I saw so much support and from everyone else throughout the country; that's one thing I'm extremely proud of. I love my country. |

I bought a notebook to write in it. I have yet to write in it. Sad. I forgot to take a quiz online in Hansen's class. Just shoot me. That class isn't starting off on the right foot. Not one bit. So, I think I broke my back. It hurts to an extreme measure. Actually, it doesn't really hurt that bad, I just like to exaggerate. My friends, well I love them. You know I realized something, hell with stressing about life and just live it. I'm in high school, there's so much out there, that I want to discover and learn. End of my story of the day. |

Alright this is the Midwest trip:
Monday- Plane ride. Wonderful Chicago. Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. Fun. Went up in the John Hancock building and saw the amazing city of Chicago. Hotel was really pretty. Roomies were awesome.
Tuesday- Orchestra concert was fabulous. Our clinician guy was from England and he was crazy cool. Our clinic concert went well. Other bands were good. We were in our wind ensemble dresses all day..which was not fun at all. Eat at some crazy diner, and the funny thing is I've always wanted to eat in one and told Kaity that just before we got there. Saw Wicked and boy was that amazingly cool. Oh yeah my feet were about to fall off.
Wednesday- Watched some more concerts. Went to the aquarium and Feilds Museum. That was fun seeing all of the different fish and dinosaurs..and "these mummies are real??." Next we ate at Gino's or Gyno's. Good pizza. Then we saw this excellent band from Japan. They were amazing. Andddd Christopher Martin (principle trumpet player for the Chicago Symphony) played with them, that was so cool.
Thursday- Our big day. We got the jitters out..whether they were excitement or just nerves. The amazing part of the trip. We all got up on that stage and played our hearts out. Sure there were mistakes because no one is perfect, but we still preformed the best we could. At least I did. It was great having people stand up along the wall just to hear you play. It is the coolest feeling to hear things like you guys are the talk around this clinic. Nothing could have gone better. Then we had the dinner, which was so much fun. Hannah and I definitely started the dancing. Too bad it was foggy out. Oh yes, once again my feet were about to fall off.
Friday- This was the fun day. We saw yet another concert..that was pretty intense. Then our group went shopping and I got all of my Christmas gifts. Next we saw The Chicago Symphony preform their Christmas show. That was fun. I lost my phone for a bit. Then security had it. Thank God. The coolest part of the whole trip. We decided that we should support UNF and their jazz band so we saw their concert. DOC SEVERINSEN was there and he preformed with them in 3 pieces. It was the coolest ever. What a legend. What a fun day.
Saturday- Got on a plane home and enjoyed the hot weather home. Being sarcastic.
Now Christmas. Stubbed my pinky toe and cut a big chunk of it out. Gross times ten. I got a Chicago trip. Ipod video. Woo hoo upgrade. A movie. And a t-shirt. Oh yeah I also got a wonderful day with a house full of crazy / amazing / fun people. I still can't believe Christmas came and left. Not exactly the way I like it but oh well. Oh the joy of life. Couldn't get any better than this. |

Can I just go to college now? Please? With a cherry on top. I think I might blow up at any moment now. I want to be on my own. Doing what I please. Having no one to tell me I can do this and that. I'm independent. That's just what I do. Sure I'm enjoying most of my life now, but I seriously need to go now. Enough of this parent crap. |

I had another fun weekend. Boy they just keep coming one by one. Oh yes.
Football game Friday was uber fun. We won again. Yayy. I got sand in my eye in the beginning but it came out which is good.
We placed second over-all this Saturday and I'm very proud of that. For having the amount hours put into marching band this year that placement is amazing. No body should be ashamed of it and if you are don't be, just don't.
Sunday, what a day. I had so much fun at Busch Gardens. I took so many pictures in a short span of two days it's not even funny. I love my camera. Roller coasters are a lot of fun..especially when you go on them with Mr. L and Ervin and of course all of the wonderful techs. I love my friends.
*Homecoming is in 3 weeks!! Holy crap..soooo exciting!* |

Yesterday was a good day. Today was a good day. Tomorrow will be a day of wonders. Saturday will be the day after Friday. Sunday will be the day I actually go to church. Monday will be the day I dread to get up for. Thursday, November 16 will be the celebration of my birth. Okay I'm done. Another note to self or in any case the world..shut your mouth. The sun is beautiful along with sweaty soccer players. Pictures are amazing. My math teacher is a spaz..but that's ok because I am too at the moment. |

I had a fun weekend. We won on friday. Go Wildcats. Marching band. Oh my. I enjoy high notes. Snakes On A Plane. Holy macaroni. That is the weirdest movie ever. I def. don't want to go on a plane right now..no way. Snakes are so not cool. Never were and neverr will be. On the other hand. I like hammocks. And I love Kaity Corder and her family. Smoked pancakes. |
